Twelve Privacy Policy

Twelve is designed to work without collecting your personal information.

No account, no sign-up

The app does not require an account, sign-up, email address, or any other identifier to use.

Location

If you grant location permission, your location is used on your device to show meetings near you. It is processed locally, is never transmitted to us, and is never stored by us. Location permission is optional and the app works without it.

Preferences

Your settings (such as selected programs and filters) are stored only on your device.

Communications

If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send (such as your email address and message contents).

Because the Service does not collect personal information, there is nothing for us to use, sell, or share. Information you send us by email is used only to respond to you.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data.

We do not have it. If we are ever legally required to disclose information, we can only disclose what we hold — which, for app usage, is nothing.

The meeting listings shown in the app are aggregated from publicly available sources published by twelve-step fellowships and intergroups. This is public information about meetings, not information about you.

Using the app to browse meetings does not register you for anything, and nothing about which meetings you view or attend is transmitted to us or to any fellowship.

You may:

• Ask us what information we hold about you (for app usage: none)
• Request deletion of any correspondence you have sent us
• Revoke location permission at any time in your device Settings

The app is distributed through Apple’s App Store, and Apple may collect information as described in its own privacy policy (for example, crash reports if you have opted in to sharing analytics with Apple).

Meeting listings may link out to fellowship websites and video-conferencing services (such as Zoom). Those services have their own privacy policies, which apply once you leave the app.

If we ever add analytics or other data collection to the Service, we will update this policy first.
